Tango dancers from Belgrade Tango Association
Dragan Mikić & Jelena Bešević, Vladimir Rajšić & Ana Babić, and Nemanja Marić & Olivera Lazarević
will perform at the 6th International Festival of Street Musicians – IFUS ’06, at Trg Sobode in Novi Sad, on Thursday, September 14, at 8:30 pm. BTA thus wishes to extend tango embrace to Novi Sad.

Belgrade Tango Association and Belgrade Municipality Stari Grad invite you to The 3rd Belgrade Tango Festival Press Conference on Monday, September 04, at 12 hrs at Stari Grad Municipal Hall, 42 Makedonska Street. Come and find out more about the Festival programme, artists, Festival venues, and workshops. A video presentation will remind you of past festivals, and some of the participants in the forthcoming Festival will share with you their impressions of the preparations for this unique celebration of tango culture in Belgrade, Serbia, and beyond. There will be free gifts for everybody present at the press conference. The latest information shows that there is a great interest in the Festival and we are all looking forward to the official opening of the Festival at “Kolarac Foundation Hall” on September 07 at 20 pm, when Ms Mirjana Božidareviæ, Chairperson of the Stari Grad Municipality will proclaim the Festival officially open. |

With two weeks to go until the beginning of the 3rd Belgrade Tango Festival, we wish to remind you that you may register for workshops, book tickets for “Tango Spectacle” at Kolarac, and Milongas at the Military Club and Madlenianum online at the official Festival web site: www.belgradetangofestival.com We are happy to inform you that tango tourists from 10 different countries have so far confirmed their arrival, so please register now for the workshops if you wish, as they have sparked a huge interest and the number of participants is limited. |
